Today was Daddy's day off. These are some random pictures from the day. Dad had a back-hoe clear the back yard and put new gravel in the front. Mom smoked a chicken over a fire on the deck, and the cats all relaxed!
This is our new kitty, "Zoe". It's our second cat adopted from the SPCA. She's very playful and lovable. Mom says the Duncan SPCA is overloaded with kittens and cats that need good loving homes. We encourage people to open their hearts to these cute critters. Even if you cannot have a cat, donations of food and money to have them spayed/neutered is always needed.
Yesterday was June 1st, and the warmest day yet this year. I like it that it is warm enough in the evening to play with cars in my Tutu until it is time for my bath and bed.
Last Sunday my Uncle Dan and Uncle Mark, Auntie Glo, and Auntie Kimmy went on the "Ride For Dad" in Victoria to help raise money to fight prostate cancer. They said it was a great time, and beautiful weather. Looks like a lot of fun too! (My Uncle Dan generated a lot of attention towing his boat behind his BMW)
Victoria Day turned out to be a little rainy, but Mom & Dad got lots of yard work and flower planting done before the rains came. I went exploring in the tall clover and down in the woods. Then we had a barbecue in the rain with Grandpa Kelly. We kept dry under the gazebo on the deck. So much fun! Grandpa even read me a bedtime story!
Reece and my Mom and I went to Uncle Mark & Auntie Glo's this morning for coffee and snacks. I got to feed the giant Koi fish! Then we went to the Luxton Fair. I tried cotton candy for the first time...it was sweet and delicious!
Our computer has been in the shop getting fixed for the past 7 days. Now that it is back home, Mom & I can upload all the pictures we took this week. I've been busy as usual. Mom & I went to the Forest Museum today and rode the rails. I love train rides, especially the whistle. A few days ago I had a tea party in my room with my bears and my cat. (My cat "Asher" didn't want his picture taken). I also blew some bubbles for the first time this year. It was so much fun!
