Hello everybody! Mom & Dad and I are going to Tofino for a vacation on Sunday. We are staying there for a whole week on the beach. I am very excited because I love the beach and all of the creatures that live there. Gran & Grandpa are looking after our house and animals, and also letting us use their laptop to be able to update Jade's Palace while we are away. So make sure you check back for daily updates from me! We will take lots and lots of pictures. I'm going to bring my camera too!

Hockey at the Gym
Historical Fair
Mom, Uncle Mark, Uncle Dan, and I went to the Historical Fair last night at my big brother Reece's school. Reece worked very hard on his project about WWII Canadian Weaponry. Uncle Mark helped by giving Reece some historical photos from Fort Rodd Hill. The Sherman Tank was really cool to learn about. Good job Reece!

Valentine's Treats!
Mom and Reece made some delicious home made chocolate peanut butter cups on Valentines Day. I only got to have a little taste of those, but I did get to have my first cup of chocolate pudding! It was awesome!
Ingredients
8 ounces of 70% bittersweet chocolate, cut into small pieces
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup cream cheese
1 tablespoon sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla
4 paper or foil muffin cup liners
Directions
Melt chocolate in a bowl set over a small pot of simmering water.
Using a pastry brush or new paintbrush paint chocolate onto the inside of the muffin cups.
Place them in a muffin tin for easier handling.
Paint a thick layer and then refrigerate until it has set hard.
Puree the peanut butter, cream cheese, sugar and vanilla in a food processor until smooth.
Spoon or pipe into the hardened chocolate cups and then pour a thick layer of the remaining melted chocolate over the top making sure the edges are sealed.
Put back in fridge until the tops have set.
Peel liners off before serving.
